I love Portland and living in the Pacific Northwest. It is a beautiful part of the country and I feel very fortunate to have been raised here. I also am fortunate that my husband fell in love with it. I also love old houses and Portland has a plethora of them. This is my first attempt at blogging, so we will see how it goes. It is sure to be a random stream of consciousness of my life in Portland as a Catholic wife, mother, homemaker, neighborhood volunteer, architectural preservation supporter, Mah Jongg player, and cornball who doesn't get to go out dancing nearly as much as I would like.** An old photo of the Classical Chinese Garden with Big Pink in the background.
